Technology Web Site Assignment   Mrs. Horwitz - Teacher

Create a “Technology Today” (create your own title) web site. This web site is going to be viewed by 6th graders, so make sure the terminology is age appropriate. Your web page should include the following:

• Information on 3 pieces of cutting edge technology.
• Definition of the Technology Item
• Vocabulary Terms that go along with the item
• Image of the item
• How can the item be used at school/ in your classes.
• Any other information that you can think ok
• General Technology Terms, as well as, the following scanner terms.
  • CCD
  • Scan Resolution
  • Bit- Depth
  • Scan Modes (line art, gray scale, and true color)
  • Twain Driver
  • OCR

Technology Suggestions: (Tablet, IPOD, MP3, GPS, WebCam, Specific Video Camera, simulator technology, docking station, Electronic Books, touch screen, etc..)

Additional Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 web pages
• A scanned image
• Web site Links (should open in its own browser)
• Reference Section. The reference section should include all of the websites that you have visited and taken information off of, for this assignment.. Make sure you use the MLA Style for Citing Web Sites Links..
• Meta Tag
• Table in at least one page
• Navigation on all pages.
• Web site design is consistent on all pages.
• Save and Test Links before you PRINT...
• Any other tags you can think of.....
