"Multimedia is the seamless integration of data, text, images of all kinds and sound within a single, digital information environment" (Feldman T, Multimedia, 1994)
The main objective of this course is to provide the students with an overview of multimedia fundamentals. Students will be instructed on HTML, the operations and terminology of scanners and digital cameras, image editing software, the creation and incorporation of sound and animation in a web page, as well as be introduced to a variety of other multimedia components. The primary goal is to have the students become proficient in creating a multimedia web site that incorporates text, sound, animation, and graphics.
