Course Syllabus
TOPICS COVERED IN THIS COURSE:
- An introduction to electronic spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel
- An introduction to the basic operations of Excel (data entry, designing
a spreadsheet, formatting a spreadsheet, etc..)
- An introduction to formulas and calculations used in Excel.
- An introduction to creating templates and graphs.
- An introduction to Excel’s Database Features.
GRADING: (The percent
of each category may change for each quarter)
- Class Assignments
- Quizzes
- Tests
- Projects **Periodic Homework may be assigned.
**It is the student’s responsibility to make up any work missed due to
absenteeism.
All make-up work is to be completed within 1 week of the due date, after that
a
grade of Zero will be recorded.

Minus 10 points every day the assignment is late
Minus 10 points if the spreadsheet is not labeled correctly with the proper headings.(file name)
