Create a web site that explains digital cameras to high school
students.
Web Site Should Include the Following:
Definition of a Digital Camera
Digital Camera Terminology (see list below)
Introduction to the Sony Mavica FD85 (if you can't find the model number
use one close to it) with at least 5 specs.
Introduction to the Canon Powershot A85 with at least 5 specs
Introduction to the Canon Powershot A650 with at least 5 specs
Introduction to the Canon Powershot A3000 with at least 5 specs
Introduction to the Kodak Easy Share C143 with at least 5 specs
A picture from at least 3 cameras
Compare the three pictures, and state your opinions of the quality of pictures
from each camera
Include the Resolution & File Size Comparison Table
Explain at least 3 ways of downloading the pictures
from a digital camera. (you do not need specific details)
List of Digital Camera Web sites, a minimum of 4,
that supply helpful information on Digital Cameras. (Do not duplicate the
web sites found on Mrs. Horwitz's Web Site)
List of ideas (at least 3) on how digital cameras can be used the classroom.
Give two examples of an assignment, in another course, that you could have
used a digital camera to enhance the assignment.
Create a Reference Section The reference section should include all of the
websites that you have visted (at least 4) and taken information off of, for
this assignment.. Make sure you use the MLA Style for Citing WebSites Links..
BONUS (20 POINTS) Compare two different cameras on the Ritz
Camera Web Site, and explain in detail which one would be the better choice
to purchase.
