2
Four Different Review Activities, Pick One
- Assemble the tags that are in an envelope. The tags are
mixed up and the end product should be an organized web page. use the spare
desks in the font of the room to display the tags.
- Draw on a poster board sheet, the tags that re needed to produce a web page
using all the tags you have been introduced to in chapter two.
- Take a survey of your classmates. Which web sites they like and why? Take
a look at least two of the web sites and identify how many tags that you recognize.
- Find a web site that demonstrates a majority of HTML tags that you have
learned. Print the source and circle the tags.
CHAPTER 3 & 4
Create a web site that explains what a typical
day is like at Malden High School. Some items you may want to include are the
following:

- Information about you
- The structure of the school
- Your schedule
- Interesting information about the school
- Etc...
The content is up to you, but make sure you use the following
tags:
- ordered list
- unordered list
- 2- HR with 2 different attributes
- 2-font tags with 2 different attributes
- copyright symbol
- degree symbol
- 4 Heading tags, some of them with attributes
- break tags
- paragraph tags
- formatting tags (B/I/U)
- background color or image
- images
- different text colors
- Any other tags you can think of.....

Assignment
To practice all of the tags you have been introduced
to so far, create a web site that resembles the "Web Site Development Process
Handout".
Save it as: develop.html
Add the following links to this web site:
- Link to web pages using text and images
- image: a web site about web design (http://www.wpdfd.com/)
- text: (http://www.htmlhelp.com/design/style/)
- Link to another web page that you have created (force
a new browser window)
- Links to other sections of the same web page
- Planning
- Content Development
- Graphic Design
- Programming
- Marketing and Promotion
- Maintenance
- Keep in mind navigation techniques.
- Use the ordered list start attribute
- Add attributes to the <p> tag
- Add a meta tag (see page 109).
- Add a copyright link to the http:///www.learnthenet.com,
as that is were the handout originated from.
