If you have not already done so please activate your email account.
In your web browser go to http://gmail.sysmatrix.net
You will see this page:

Log in with your username (without typing
the "@sysmatrix.net)
and current password. Agree to the terms and activate the new account.
Setting up Outlook Express / Outlook 2000
This section is for all Windows Operating Systems EXCEPT Windows VISTA
- The EASIEST way to set up Outlook Express or Outlook 2000 is to run the auto-configure script.

Outlook Express Auto-Configure Script
- If you wish to set the account up manually continue below.
- Double click "Outlook Express" or "Outlook". This is located on your desktop. Please note that Outlook Express and Outlook 2000 setup the same.
- If this is the first time Outlook Express has been used on your computer, a wizard will begin. Skip to #9. Otherwise, continue on to # 3.
- Click "Tools" located on the top menu.
- Click "Accounts"
- Click "Mail" located on the top of the window that just popped up.
- If you are in the process of switching from the old SysMatrix mail servers to the new one LEAVE you old SysMatrix account set up until you test the new one.
- If there are any existing email accounts from your old ISP that you will no longer use listed in the window, click each one once and click "Remove" located on the right side of the window. Repeat this process until all of the existing email accounts are removed.
- Click "Add"
- Click "Mail"
- Enter your desired display name in the field provided. This can be anything you want it to be. ("Bob" , "Bob Smith", "B. Smith", etc.)
- Click "Next"
- Enter the email address provided to you by us in the field asking for your email address. ("username@sysmatrix.net")
- Click "Next"
- Make sure that the email server is set to "POP3"
- For the incoming mail server enter pop.gmail.com
- For the outgoing mail server enter smtp.gmail.com
- Click "Next"
- Enter the full email address provided by us in the next field. (username@sysmatrix.net)
- Enter your password.
- Click "Next"
- Click "Finish"
- Click the account labeled "pop.gmail.com" once and click "Properties" located on the right side of the window.
- Click the tab labeled "Servers".
- At the bottom of that window, click the check box labeled "My server requires authentication".
- Click the "Advanced" tab at the top
- Check BOTH boxes that say "This server requires a secure connection"
- Change the PORT number in the first box to "587" (the second box should automatically change to 995)
- Click "Ok".
- Click "pop.gmail.com" once to hilight it.
- Click the "Set as default" button to the right.
- Click "Close"
If you are switching from the old SysMatrix mail servers to the new ones continue below.
- Click "Tools"
- Go to "Send and receive"
- Click "pop.gmail.com"
- Verify that you see it connect to receive mail.
- Click "Tools"
- Click "Accounts"
- Click your OLD SysMatrix account once to highlight it.
- Click "Remove" to the right to delete the old account settings.
- Click "Close"
